The road bike conversion kit has a shorter applicator, when using it you don't have to worry that you wouldn't be able to repair and inflate your road bike tire at the same time due to careless handling. The applicator that comes with the Air Kit is longer and therefore the inflation and repair of the road bike tire is more complicated with it.
